Trial Holes

Trial Holes | J Wilson Contractors, Wrexham

For new-build house developers a trial hole investigation can provide specific information detailing existing underground utility apparatus including LP and HP gas, HV and LV electric, water and telecommunications. This can be particularly useful at a proposed new site entrance as well as on-site before building work commences to safely locate utility connection points or to avoid costly utility diversions.

Our trial hole service includes exploration and surveying of existing utility apparatus both on and off site. A full report detailing our findings with both written and photographic evidence can be provided. Where trial holes are required on the public highway, we can liaise with the local authority to obtain the necessary permits, arrange traffic management and ensure full reinstatement to meet the local authority’s requirements. All of our operatives are qualified to NRSWA standard and we are fully insured.
